LIFT 2.0, a homeless response initiative aimed at housing 1,500 households by December 31, 2024, was launched in

the summer of 2022 in the City of Atlanta. Thanks to investments from private entities, as well as City and State

departments, the initiative is currently in progress. So far, over 820 households have been rehoused – over halfway

towards the plan’s goal.

Partners for Home, a nonprofit, is spearheading the execution of this initiative. In the process, Partners for Home

has emphasized the challenge in finding and securing suitable accommodations, despite the organization’s

commitment to paying rent for all units. The initiative’s success walks hand-in-hand with the availability of

affordable housing units.

Community stakeholders are encouraged to attend monthly meetings held on the first Wednesday of each

month from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
