Who We Serve

The Atlanta Children’s Shelter provides a total family service model exclusively to families facing homelessness with young children under the age of 6.  Children older than 6 are unfortunately ineligible. A family facing homelessness may be living in a shelter, may be sleeping on a friend’s couch, or may be on the edge of eviction.

Aren’t sure if you qualify? Give us a call at 404-892-3713.

REGISTRATION

Families interested in enrolling with the Atlanta Children’s Shelter can call 404-892-3713 and ask to speak to the Case Manager to schedule an intake.

  • Current shelter letter on agency letterhead, signed by a program staff member
  • Immunization records for each enrolled child
  • Birth Certificate and Social Security Card for parent and each enrolled child
  • State ID or Driver’s License for parent
