The ACS Women’s Giving Luncheon is going virtual this year!

The Atlanta Children’s Shelter will host its annual Women’s Giving Luncheon on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 12:00 PM. The event will be held virtually this year considering the changing restrictions and state public health emergency order due to COVID-19. Guests can enjoy their lunch while making an impact through philanthropy. There is no cost to participate, and the event will be held via Zoom.
Guests will hear a keynote address, celebrate the Achievers Honorees, and hear a testimonial from our Legacy Honoree. The Achievers and Legacy Honorees are formerly homeless parents who have achieved self-sufficiency with the assistance of the Atlanta Children’s Shelter programs.
The Atlanta Children’s Shelter brings stability and independence to homeless families in Metro Atlanta that have young children from six weeks to six years old. For more than 30 years, we have been providing loving quality childcare to homeless children and support services to their parents as they strive for self-sufficiency. The Shelter provides homeless families with a licensed and accredited early childhood education program that includes nutrition and healthcare services on-site at no cost to families. We also provide counseling, mental health therapy, job skills training, job placement, and housing assistance to homeless parents through our accredited social services program, all on-site and at no cost to the families experiencing homelessness.
