Atlanta Children’s Shelter Hires New Childcare Director PDF Print E-mail

ATLANTA, April 4, 2011 – The Atlanta Children’s Shelter (ACS) is pleased to welcome Ms. Nadia Payne as its new Childcare Director. A graduate of East Carolina University and George Mason University, Ms. Payne is currently attending Clark Atlanta University, where she is pursuing a doctorate of Education Leadership. Ms. Payne holds a K-12 School Leaders License from the Department of Education and is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, National Council on Family Relations, and the Southern Early Childhood Association. Ms. Payne brings to ACS eight years of experience operating private licensed daycare centers. She joins ACS from KinderCare, where she was a center director, and from whom she received numerous awards for excellence, including 2009 Center Director of the Year.
